The Best Options For Getting The Smile Of Your Dreams

If you want the smile of your dreams, Circle Drive Dental can help. As a leading cosmetic dentist in Minnesota, we have some terrific approaches for you to consider.

Dental Bridges

In the case of dental bridges, the word “bridges” isn’t used figuratively. Dental bridges are used to literally bridge a gap that’s caused by one or more missing teeth. A dental bridge consists of one or more false teeth, flanked by crowns that are fitted to the existing teeth on either side of the gap. If the existing teeth aren’t strong enough to hold the crowns, implants are used instead. The false teeth can be gold, porcelain, alloys, or a combination, and they look remarkably natural.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is arguably the most popular cosmetic dental procedure. It’s easy, mostly pain-free, and effective at removing stains/discoloration and lightening a person’s teeth, resulting in a great smile.

Tobacco use and regular consumption of dark-colored liquids (coffee, tea, red wine, pop) are common causes of stained teeth, and people who don’t practice good oral care are subject to teeth discoloration too. Also, the natural aging process renders teeth less bright over time – this is because the enamel on the teeth gets thinner while the dentin beneath the enamel gets darker.

The whitening process begins with the dentist photographing your teeth in order to track your progress. Next, your teeth are cleaned, and then the whitening procedure begins. A typical process utilizes a powerful whitening gel that’s applied to the teeth, accompanied by a special laser that “activates” the gel and expedites bleaching. A typical procedure lasts 30 – 90 minutes, and depending on the condition of your teeth, your age, and other factors, a patient requires 1 – 3 appointments before the whitening procedure can be considered complete.

Dental Veneers

Many patients seeking the perfect smile choose dental veneers as an effective solution. Veneers are thin “coverings”, made of composite resin or porcelain, which are custom-made to fit over a patient’s teeth. The veneers that Circle Drive Dental uses look incredibly natural, and they’re an ideal fix for a variety of different tooth issues, including teeth that are stained, chipped, worn down, uneven, misaligned, or abnormally spaced.

For all of these circumstances, employing dental veneers is an effective way to create a pleasing, long-lasting smile – especially because veneers are hard to stain.

Invisalign

In just two decades, Invisalign has become a hugely popular alternative to traditional braces. Instead of metal brackets, the Invisalign system consists of custom-made clear plastic aligners that a patient wears throughout the day. As the patient’s teeth shift, new aligners are made to continue the straightening process. These aligners gradually shift the patient’s teeth into the right position, culminating in straight teeth and an enviable smile.

Along with its aesthetic benefit, Invisalign offers patients the chance to remove the aligners when eating or brushing - something you can’t do with braces, which are permanently attached to the teeth.
